changes to contract

Greg Boiarsky:
Alamy is now down to one contract, Alamy Blue.  They no longer offer Alamy Green, which allowed the contributor to pay storage charges, but retain a larger percentage of the sales price.

and they cut out wire transfer to a number of countries whose currencies they don't support anymore.. such as canada and norway to name a few.

CJPhoto:
How does payment work.  I think when I looked at it, unless you were in the US, they charged extra to do a wire transfer, and that was the only option.  Do they do cheque?

leaf:
yeah from what i understand now, they issue a cheque in one of the currencies they support.
So if you have a bank account in either USD, Pounds Sterling or Euro they can do a bank transfer otherwise you get a cheque in the currency you choose of those three

Freezingpictures:
I have a question about submitting to Alamy.
1. Are they very picky? More picy the SS in the first submission of 10 images?
2. As I understand I should save the file in jpg, and send them the images in jpg, but they should have an uncompressed filesize of at least 48MB. Is that right?
3. Do they require Keywording and description?
4. Do they put the 10 images online, if you get accepted?

Thankyou!
