Title: My QC Rank is frozen?? Why???
Post by: Freedom on March 10, 2017, 20:48
Just saw that my QC rank has been frozen at 1 star. It was two stars last week.

I have had no rejections at all for many months, or years. My total and average CTRs are well above the average.

Why!

We don't know why don't you ask Alamy?  Email them they'll get back quickly during the working week

I ask this question, because I wonder if there are other people with similar experience.

It should be noted that the rank freeze only lasts until a certain date. Does Alamy not want the search engine to fine my images for a while? I just don't know why I am punished.

I dont think QC rank affects search results probably how big a dsample of your images they inspect. What rational reason would there be to "punish" contributors?

I don't know the answer to any of you questions. However if it happened to me I'd first check their forum, (with my sceptical filter on). Then I'd do a search for some of my images there in a browser with all cookies/history cleared. If several searches did not show my pics I'd ask their support team what was going on and why.
