Nice! I like the new dashboard.

Now they should change the image manager as well... which is very annoying.

next step should be to allow FTP uploads.
they've already FTP for news and archival images so why not for anything else ?

Oh, well, it proves what I thought but didn't want to formally work out.
I had a slow-but-steady increase in sales 2009-2012, a sharper increase last year, and this year is crashing.

FTP is a security nightmare. Dedicated apps such as iStock's Deep Meta are the way forward IMO.

The new interface is excellent. I hope that sooner or later they get rid of the Flash based image management interface. And it would be be fantastic if they could change things such that IPTC keywords go to main instead of comprehensive.

I have built a couple of custom reports and it is very nice compared to manually calculating earnings. Just need more sales now.

I like it, but if you click on any link to manage or view your port, you get that several year old message about I have chosen the old version which will be disabled soon. On the old interface, there were two links and you could go straight to the new interface.

The visual says clearly that this year is much, much, much worse than last. Other agencies are showing growth, so either Alamy is growing but in other areas (which I don't have any offerings for) or Alamy is losing ground to other agencies.

I don't upload to Alamy any more (I would if the sales reappeared), but I didn't upload to 123rf for over 18 months and sales there kept growing in spite of a drop from 50% to 45% royalty.

Is anyone seeing any growth over prior years at Alamy?

It's really nice to see them update their long-in-the-tooth interface, but without sales I don't care much.

I have closed my account because they are  a bunch of pompous twats. And their contributors need a reality check. They think they do well but in reality they make feck all. People are happy with 12 sales in a month, like 500 net, with 20,000 images. They need to wake up and smell the coffee.

Good thing I went and checked it out, had my first sale!  $14 for the same image Istock gave away for less than a $1.

yes and if you dare taking a look at their portfolio it's mostly snapshots of no commercial or artistic value, they're lucky to make any sales actually, probably obscure and hard to find editorial subjects and god knows how much time they spent on keywording...

they can come up with wonderful dashboards and other but until they work on a fast submission process I won't bother
