I wouldn't think anyone other than the testers will have it yet:
"We hope this overview gives you a good idea of what to expect with the upcoming Alamy Image Manager, further details and instructions will be released in due course."

Here is the part many I think have been waiting for;

"Simplified restrictions

In addition to the simplified restrictions that were recently introduced across Alamy, there will now be a check box for “Editorial Only”. This means you can assign editorial only restrictions to an image if you wish and this includes Royalty Free images."

Yep strange that this is rather buried away as it has big implications which some people aren't going to like! But some are so might be interesting debate!

Yes, if you look at the comments some already fear the invasion of the scary microstockers.

The new image manager is flash free, so you will be able to do it with your ipad  :)

Noodle, this if a good new.
Not for the iPad but because Flash is an antique-buggy-insecure technology not in line with the modern times :)

We'rre already there. That's what drove me to Alamy years ago, reading about how we were ruining stock, on the Alamy forum from some tight ass snobs. Invade everybody. Hope you all make good money.

I'd be curious to see what this means for the workflow of those of us using the Alamy Lightroom plugin. Not wanting to have to "pay to play" with Alamy I felt awkward about buying a third party plugin. However, the plugin has saved tons of time allowing me to have presets that reflected the kind of work I do. And the plugin also streamlined the uploading process, I didn't have to export to disk from LR then take resulting JPGs and upload to Alamy.

Anybody know if there will be a new plugin to reflect changes either from (Jim Keir?) or an official Alamy plugin?

Well I have just has a batch accepted for editing keywords but nothing has changed. Still the same 3 groups and no option for editorial or is there something I should click, instigate, sign etc for this new procedure to happen ?

We can't use it yet.  Alamy take their time, hopefully we will have it before the end of 2017 :)

I'd rather an agency take their time and get it right rather than fumble round and screw it up like some microstock agencies :D
