Do you put restrictions on your RM images at Alamy ? What for ?

If you don't have a model or property release, you should set it for non-commercial use only.  Also if you don't want an image used in a certain way, you may specify it (for instance, you may not want images of your own kids used connected with sensitive issues such as pedophily, rape, STD, etc).

Also if you have sold an image as RM for a certain use, you may not be able to sell it for the same use to another customer (it all depends on the terms of the license).

At least that's the kind of restriction you can add in MyLoupe, I suppose it's the same with Alamy.

Thank you Adelaide. You are right, but I was thinking in particular about country restrictions, like this one :

Restrictions      • World Excluding USA and UK All Usages, All Medias, All Industries, All Sub-Industries

Why exclude USA and UK ?

Rene

Hmm, not sure.  I understand being able to restrict location, in case you sell it with an exclusivity for a certain country. Maybe there is another option like "USA/UK only", so you would use this other option when you have already sold it for USA/UK?
