Hi everyone,
Hope you're all well.
I am slightly concerned - over the past few months I have been collecting a few pieces of work that have been published with my Alamy/Chris Dorney credit and it is great to see that my images are being used! However, some of the images that have been published with the Alamy credit have not appeared in my Sales History? This is very concerning! Does anybody know why? Should i contact them?
If you could shed any light on this I would be very grateful!

I usually contact them after three months. Some Alamy customers are on term payment deals, and distributor sales are often months late. It's amazing how, although you get an explanation of how they are on extended credit or the distributor thing etc., the email nudges a payment within a few days. Some customers seem to be on six month deals, (I think).

The publishing industry is kinda weird. They pay after the book is actually printed. All suppliers have to wait until the money starts coming in. At least that's my experience.

Ok, thanks for your replies, they are much appreciated. Looks like I will just have to be more patient. I will keep a close eye on it though and contact them in due course.

Also be aware that there can be weeks or months between the sale being reported and you actually getting the money (again, contact them after three months).
