Title: Selling prints in addition to stock on Alamy
Post by: kel858 on August 21, 2014, 15:14
Hi, I'm a newbie here, and trying to decide which route to go with stock.  I am interested in submitting to Alamy, but I also would like to sell my prints myself from my website or through a site such as fineartamerica.com.  This may be a dumb question, but if I have submitted photos and had them accepted to Alamy, am I also able to sell prints of the same photo online from either of these routes?  And, does it matter if the photo was submitted as RF, RM, or Editorial?  Would like to go RM but wonder if this disqualifies me from selling prints either directly from my site  or something such as fineartamerica.

Alamy is not an exclusive agency - if you sell RM there, you can sell RM elsewhere, also RF/RF. Lots of Alamy contributors sell  via FAA, and there's no problems with selling as prints or licensing images yourself either.
