What you think about selling vectors on Alamy? Is it worth it? As I understand, Alamy sells vectors under RF license, same vectors from other microstock sites can be uploaded on Alamy. But, that can be the problem, because same vectors can be found cheaper on microstock site. Please share you experience. Thanks!

My experience is very bad. Got 3 sale in 2 years and very less price.

I have tried selling vectors and photos on Alamy.  Never had even one sale.  Ever.

Not sure if price affects it that much. People may shop around to find a stock site they like, and with prices they're happy to pay, but once they've got their site of choice... I don't think there's that much shopping around.

I don't know much about Alamy, but aren't they a bit on the expensive side? If so, price probably isn't that much of an issue for people who source their content from there. If it was, then they'd probably look elsewhere before checking Alamy.

I could be wrong. Sometimes I am, surprisingly enough!

I'm not sure that Alamy goes out of its way to promote vectors, and it's probably not the first site a buyer looking for vectors would try.

When you upload vectors on Alamy they sell our work (with a large jpg) at 9,99 USD under a licence which seems like about an EL: "All rights, all media,  worldwide in perpetuity". I have some vectors there and I had some sales at 5$ royalties (the only one chance for vectors). Uploading raster-only version of an illustration you can earning much more. I had my first sale at 99$!! They treat vectors very bad. It is better think well about which vectors make sense to upload there.

I apologize for my poor English

I know your work and if that gets you no sales, others should forget about it. Could change but that's a clear sign that Alamy is not the place for vectors.

This is interesting. My illustrations are on Alamy in raster-only format. I've been wondering if I should get the vector files of those images up there as well but it looks like it's not worth the effort. Sales are sparse and have ranged from 0.50 to 150$, but the bottom line at Alamy is better than BigStock, DepositPhotos...
