I just got an invitation to join Albumo albumo.com, a new micro site.
I don't have the time but maybe some of you might.

I'd just like to say that I'm not sure if all these new sites is all that great and I personally will not be submitting to more sites. I find it a waste of time to submit in hopes of success. The only new site I'm looking to get into is Corbis - and thats even a question mark because I don't know their terms - but you know that they will try and make a good splash.

The site looks ok, but i am not sure there is a point of submitting to more sites when i have a hard enough time keeping up with the ones I allready submit to. I guess it might be a good place for newcomers to get lots of images on.. but will they get sales??
yeah, i keep forgetting about that corbis site? when on earth is it going to come?

I received an invite as well - they offered to pay me $250 if I uploaded 1000 images (to be a member of their "elite 100 club"). I briefly checked it out - looks to me to be far too early to make it worth my time to join: apart from a few of anomalies, their top selling images have been DLed only once!
... still, I'm tempted by the $250. I'm suspicious that they'll become inordinately picky about accepting images once people near the 1000 mark, so I'll pass on this for now.

amen to that.... in fact, I'm seriously thinking of bailing out of two more that give me low sales.... It's a ton of work. 8) -tom
