I didn't know BigStock had a gallery like this until I read their email newsletter today. I was happy to see that hatman12 has an image in there (congrats, hatman!), and even happier to see that I have 4!

Kinda strange that they picked two similar images of mine to put in there, huh?

Go here to check out the gallery. I didn't see any other familiar names from this forum - my apologies if I inadvertently left anyone out.

Pixart:
Sharply, you were featured on the sidebar there a while back with a couple other photographers (featured photog of the week or something) - maybe June - did they let you know that?  I can remember that I meant to mention it but didn't get a chance to... and you're just so darn famous now anyway ;D.....

edit; forgot to say a big congrats - you have quite a few in there.

Thanks, pixart!

BigStock featured me when I resumed uploading there as a backup plan in case FT completely tanked out. I wish they had done it when I had more than 200 images there, but what can ya do. I garnished a few sales from it, and am hoping that I will do the same from being in this gallery - every little bit helps!

Well done sharply.  And naturally I'm pleased to see one of my pictures in there.

BigStock have been making gradual changes here and there.  And it's good to see them refining the web site.

But what they need to do is to spend some money on advertising and promotion in order to generate CUSTOMERS.  They can have the best, most functional web site in the world, but without customers it's just a waste of time and effort.

Let's hope that now the summer lull is over, BigStock have some serious marketing plans up their sleeves.

congrats guys.  well done. - looks like i didn't make the cut :(
