Title: 87 Cent Commission?
Post by: Karimala on December 14, 2008, 22:52
For three years, every commission I've received at BigStock has been in 50 cent increments.  Today I had one for 87 cents.  I can't find anything anywhere that explains what this commission is for.  Did something change I don't know about?

Never had one of those. Commissions have always been in 50 cent increments for me also. Could it be an affiliate sale?

I also had an 87 cent commission on Saturday. I looked round the site, including the forum, but cannot see any explanation.

Did you contact BigStock and ask them? They should know.
I suspect a EL sale.

That amount is from a partner sale.

Any idea which partner it could be?  The only partners listed on their site are PixelLogo and Flash Templates.  At first I thought it might be a sale through Crystal Graphics, but the commission amount is too low.

And no...I haven't contacted BigStock yet.  Having once worked for a microstock company, I know how bogged down the agencies can get with e-mails from contributors asking simple questions, so I thought I'd ask here first.
