Title: Anyone tried Bridge to Bigstock?
Post by: sugarthepunk on April 06, 2016, 02:00
Today I just noticed an invitation to join Bridge to Bigstock on my Shutterstock page. Not sure how long it has been there since I never paid attention to any messages on there. I saw a post below about this from 2011 so it could have be there since 2011 LOL.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone is in the program and if it's worth a try? I did try Bigstock many years ago for about 6 months. It wasn't doing well for me so I closed the account. The details said my portfolio will be automatically submitted to Bigstock. I can manage images independently and can opt-out anytime. Sounds pretty good, right? What do you guys think? Thanks in advance for your reply :)

Lots of people tried this program. But as far as I know it is closed now, actually in 2014 it was already closed and may be a bit earlier.
But you should ask directly if you are interested.

I see. The invitation takes me to the Agreement and Account Setup page though. But maybe if I actually try to setup it might say it's closed already.

It was worth it to me as I was uploading to Bigstock anyway and it was one less site that I needed to bother uploading to.

Gone years ago, I'd join BS if bridge was a choice, but not so BS gets nothing from me.

Im with the Bridge to BS since day one. if I wasn't I wouldn't waste my time. BS used to be a very cool site and one of the first, they paid us 50 cents a DL. Tim and Dawn were great people. SS came along and killed it. Why they bought it is one of the great Mysteries.it started in a bedroom in Northern California. There upload system was Like 1995 or something. maybe changed now. don't know.

I'm in Bridge, and if they are letting people in again it's worth it to join.

They aren't letting in people anymore. It is the only way I would consider uploading. The comissions on BS are just way too low otherwise.
