Bigstock has suspended uploading until 03/31. Just after hiring more reviewer and promising to never suspend uploading.
It is very hard to keep faith in this type of business practice! >:( :( :(

Bigstock is one of the less communicative agency as far as I know. The review time is a joke and even worst while we can't upload in the weekends. There's place for improvement and first whit their scatter web interface

i uploaded without issue today.

They're just a small agency, they've never done anything to annoy me, and sales are reliable and improving. They seem to be picking up sales which used to happen elsewhere.
I have always found them to be helpful and friendly.
I don't even notice how long it takes for images to be reviewed. What's a week when you plan to keep them up for years?

I couldn't disagree more on every issue you mentioned. They paypal within hours, they reply email swiftly during US West Coast business hours, and their web interface is simple but fast. And for me, they sell more than iStock. Slowly, steadily, reliably. Try to use their forum if you have any issues. They are worthwhile!

i have to agree with your last member's opinion.
i wouldn't complain about having to wait for UL , as long as they pay promptly.
as they mentioned, they have to clear the backlog first.
reading the good vs bad, i think big stock wins my confidence.

While it IS unfortunate that uploads are suspended, we were having 5-7 day backlogs of images anyways. I'd rather they took 3-4 days, cleared out, and were back to a level that didn't take a week to get things approved.

I have never had a problem with Bigstock. In March my sales there have doubled, and it is now my third best earner.

I like BigStock as well, their sales are picking up nicely and they have a nice clean ad campaign in my area as well.
Keep up the good work Big Stock.

First it was no uploads until Today. I can wait. Then the notice that if you just uploaded ftp your photos may have been lost, try again. I ftp'ed a group this afternoon, and now I'm getting the site down message.
That means I don't know if the photos are there or not and can't check, because after a four day break, the whole site has been shut down for maintenance.
Not a huge confidence builder. I like the site, so this isn't a hate mail.
Update, 1 am, all photos arrived fine, have been submitted for approval. The site is smoother than ever.
I guess that break was for a good reason. :)

They were down for maintenance as of a few minutes ago, but I was able to upload a bit between the maintenance and the hold on uploading over the weekend. The good news is that I got a few downloads there in the past couple of days. (Which is a good sign, since my portfolio there is pretty small.)
