Title: Bigstock trend
Post by: Mantis on September 07, 2015, 08:32
I am seeing Bigstock slowly fade into nothingness this year. I am on bridge to BS so I have added hundreds of images in 2015. I suspect that BigStock is losing its buyer base, but this is based on my single experience.  Anyone else seeing the same/different trend? This is for YTD 2015.

For me it's going to be the worst year ever at Bigstock

For me they were doing OK through June but then dropped off by about 50% - my graph shows a much steeper drop than yours (too lazy to post it though)

We've only been around for about 15-18 months so port growth is playing a substantial role in our overall income. But I've been pretty pleased with Bigstock this year. So I took a look at our RPI there each month this year. It's held pretty steady. I didn't include September because it's not over. And I didn't include January because we had a rare extended license sale on BigStock in January.

Been tanking for a while and good riddance.  I'd feel different if I was on bridge but  I was already uploading.

For the previous few months of 2015 my earnings on BS dropped by more than 60% compared to 2014! I'm not on "bridge".
This negative trend began since the start of 2015.
I think this is intentional move by BS!
We know about their ridiculous unreachable levels of contributor payments! I'm on $0.33 level and was close to the the next higher level but now I will drop a level very soon.
When this happens I will stop uploading my new images there!

Nice and steady for me with only 2/3 of my portfolio there. Summer was slow but getting back to normal sales now. No downward trend.
