I find it curious when I see some image with an out-of-ordinary result.
This illustration in BigStock was my last sale 4 times in a row (3 times today, different times, so possibly not the same person repeating the transaction for some problem). It was also 6 of my last 10 dlds, 9 of my last 20 dlds, 15 of my last 50 dlds. This image has been online for 2 years and about 25% of its downloads occured this month only.
It isn't anything special, it doesn't even look quite good as a thumbmail.

It happens with me to. My bestseller at StockXpert sells very slowly elsewhere, and wasn't even accepted at IS and SS. Here's the photo:

It looks like a very useful image. Perhaps it's gotten a lot more exposure recently, made it into a lightbox maybe?

in my case, it was something similar but the reverse:
ironically, the ones that BigStock rejected as no commercial values,
ended up selling with three of the Big 6.
so once again, it proves each site has its only criteria of what is
"sellable".
i think someone else puts it best (leaf? ) , " i just upload my images and
forget about them." 8)

Both your images (EPIXX, MADELAIDE) are very generic. That's why they sell . Another thing too, Madelaide, you have much more than 7 kws,
that dispels the fact that one commentor mentioned, "seven keywords
get better results".
Have learned to take comments on the forum with a grain of salt.
From thereon, unless the comments were made by someone with the postscripts BUYER, i really just enjoy the post to pass the time of day. ;D
