embedded IPTC into eps format?

Hi All,

the bigstock informs that the IPTC data should put in the eps format, in order to get their eps vector upload system recognised it. But i encountered problem that some eps files are okay to keep the IPTC but some some eps files just failed to keep the data. Data will be disappeared if i open with AI again.

Anyone had similar problem? i wish they are able to read IPTC from the JPG uploaded together with eps.

did anyone successfully embed IPTC into eps format? some of eps files just lost the data after saving.

it is really inconvenient to upload eps since without reading IPTC.

just went through this on the forum too. I usually keyword in adobe bridge cs4 it wont even let me put keywords into my .eps files.  I'm at the point of just saying BigStock doesnt get my vectors

the way i was told to put IPTC metadata to eps is using adobe illustrator, by FILE -> file info, same path as what you do in photoshop for jpg.

but i notice that some eps works and some don't..i am not sure why. it is just disappeared after saving. I found there is too many jobs for that since most agency accept JPG IPTC that uploaded together with eps.

By the way, i think there is a bug that in BIGSTOCK that if you didn't upload JPG with eps, the system may not be able to generate sometimes. 'image being generated' will display instead of the image preview.

Hope that bigstock can work on solutions that read IPTC data from JPG that upload together with eps.

hope bigstock can read IPTC from the JPG preview uploaded together with eps. Got some sales recently in bigstock, but takes time to copy and paste the IPTC is slowing down everything.
