Title: Got my first download at BigStock!

Just started building my port on BigStock and was presently surprised to see first download today. Motivates me to be more active on BigStock. Regards, Vish

How long did it take before you got your first download?

And in general for anyone else reading this post - how long did it take (and how big was your portfolio) before regular sales starting coming in?

I started BS in January and have 76 files up (another 25 pending). I have a 75% acceptance rate. So far I have made $27 so I am not thrilled. SS and IS do much better. But BS still beats SX, DT and FT in sales (not by much though).

I started all sites at the same time with the exception of IS which I started six months before. From the five I started in January, they all seem to drag except SS which is doing great. I am hoping for some better returns as my port grows, otherwise it's not worth the effort. If they continue to suck I will stick to SS and IS and forget the rest. But I figure I need to give it a year and build up the ports to at least a few hundred images before making that decision.

Vish,

BigStock is not a big seller for me (and I believe for nobody) but it is a steady seller and the US$30 minimum payouts are a treat.

I really wish some other sites would adopt the $30 min payout too.

I hope you will get lots of downloads.... but bigstock is not doing good for me  :(
