My photo was rejected. But ... for the first time ever (I think) a reviewer gave a specific reason for rejecting a specific image:
Reason: blown out highlight in the rice. thank you.
Can't get much more specific than that.
PS: I knew the highlight was blown but thought it could sneak through. BS saved me the embarrassment of having a buyer think my photography sucks.

You remind me of my favorite saying "I have standards, they're low, but I HAVE standards" (say the caps with stronger emphasis). Maybe it is time to raise your standards a tad; blown highlights are for newbies.

;D Probably true. Must be the WalMart in me.
Still, it was a step in the right direction for BigStock reviewers. I wish all my blown highlights could be so specifically noted.
