Don't know, but I do know that my sales at BigStock are easily the worst of any agency I submit to.  I sell more in one day at IS and SS than I sell in an entire MONTH at Bigstock.  I think their performance with my portfolio is atrocious.

And they don't seem particluarly bothered about anything; even image review times have slipped to the longest of any agency; reviews ised to be quiet efficient at BigStock, but then it became a week and now my latest batch has taken ten days.

Very poor.

I've been doing microstock for seven months, and I promised myself I'd give each agency a year to prove themselves, but BigStock is so poor (for me) that I am inclined to stop uploading and wait out the 90 days notice period.

I take the view that if an agency cannot perform, cannot invest in promotions and advertising to increase the customer base, and cannot generate an economic return on my investment, then they don't deserve to have my business.

And to top it all, according to Alexa, page views at BigStock have now slipped to a three year low.

Not good.

Lauren Rinder reckons 'one of the big five is up for sale'; perhaps BigStock has stopped spending to bolster the bottom line while it seeks a buyer.

Ten days ago, I asked payout on IS, DT, BigStock and Featurepics via PayPal.
All sites were very correct and reasonably fast.
BigStock (BigStock) was the fastest. I had the amount on my PayPal account within a few hours.

Perhaps it's a MoneyBookers problem? I'm with PayPal and very happy about them.

I'd rather bet on CanStockPhoto. It's a very well-programmed stable site with a vibrant community. But the gifted guy that started and runs it, Duncan, is a student and his pockets probably aren't deep enough to market his site properly. CanStockPhoto is gold, waiting to be discovered.

I must say CanStockPhoto is one of the sites that disappoint me most.  Not only sales have been slowing down for me there (none at all this month!), but I don't see anything new in the site for a while.

One good thing there is the keyword and category suggestion.  Keywords sometimes are not so good, though often useful, but categories are normally right.  One exception recently - and I never saw it so wrong - was an image with just the Brazilian flag, and the suggested categories were People>Women, People>Adults, People and the suggested keywords were female, beauty, feminine, person, beautiful, people, pretty, women, attractive, diverse, diversity. I had no keywords related to woman or people at all. But as I said, most of the times these tools are useful.

I see people there always so positive about the site, but I see the same people doing so much better elsewhere.

Once Duncan said he was putting a lot of his free time in the site, and I said that not having a full time dedication (his or someone else's) was not good in terms of business and the site's future, given the structure of other sites.  Stones were thrown at me by some members.  It seems they're happy to have a site where can chat and eventually even sell images...  I don't see there the same kind of positive ambition you see in Luckyoliver, for instance, of making a succesful business with some differential to attract customers.  Duncan seems quite satisfied with what he's achieved - which is not little, I agree, but too stable.

Regards,
Adelaide

I'm glad to hear they are paying...so I guess there is some hope...still, after several days, I havent got any answer to my message to BigStock... a bit frustrating I must admit, and not a good publicity either. I have sent a new one,  let's see.....

I have just checked all my payment requests with BigStock and they have all been received within 1 to 5 days.  Most of those are with moneybookers.

My sales have slowed down but the smaller sites do seem to suffer more in the summer.  Lucky Oliver has ground to a halt.  I will keep on uploading and see what happens in the autumn.  Last year, my sales shot up in October and November.  I wasn't uploading to BigStock then but I hope that will happen with them this year.

Another 24 hours without any answer fromBSP.  As you all mention they are paying, I must have done something wrong in the payment request procedure, I wish BigStock tells me......

I have been payed now and I'm faulty not having given the right email adress, so I apologize.
BigStock people have not reacted very swiftlyt to my questions about why the payment was not reaching me, but afterward they have been very nice and co-operative.
So everything goes well!
