Title: to remove photos marks them as declined
Post by: ijb on August 06, 2013, 16:55
Most of you probably already know this but for those that do not, if you ask Bigstock to remove any of your photos, they will mark them as declined thus affecting your approval rating. I made the mistake to remove all my old photos in preparation of uploading newer, much better ones. Not a smart move!

Sounds like yet another reason to build our own SYS websites... as if we needed more reasons.  :D

How does approval rating affect your port at BS?  I did not think it was a consideration?

The lower your approval rating, the fewer photos you can upload at a time.

Yeah, I had that happen when I first joined. It took a little time to build my approval back up. Now, I would say don't even bother with Bigstock. They've pretty much become one of the lowest paying sites, and that is saying a lot in a field of low paying sites.

You have a point, Warren.  What about the Bridge to Bigstock? That is 100% acceptance each time.  Does that mean Bridgers get better placement? I doubt it, but who knows these days with all the shenanigans these agencies play.
