I have tried all day to request payout of the $119 it says is "payable" in my BigStock account. I've tried through both Paypal and Moneybookers. Each time I make the request, it tells me I don't have enough money in the account to request payout.
Checked the info page and it still says you can request if your payable balance is $50 or more.
Has anyone else had a similar problem there the past couple of days?
BTW, sent a note to support this AM but haven't heard back yet.

Just requested $50.50 payout via paypal and it seems to have worked. I hope support can sort out the issue.

I think they have an issue with the whole stolen images/credit card fraud thing. Did you have images stolen? I was traveling and out of town, but checked in now and again and seem to remember that you did. So the balance showing may not actually be what you are owed. Maybe that's the discrepancy?
I sent a message to support because when I use the drop down menu on the home page, under "your account", it's showing I have 42.50 in commissions, but at least $12.50 were the bogus sales. I asked if they could change that. It's silly to show me commissions I am never going to see. I want to know how much money I have really made.
edited: I just reread and I see that you are saying it's showing the amount payable, so I'm not sure what the deal is. nickp37 posted while I was and I see that he requested payment, so it doesn't seem to be totally broken. Maybe they have limited payout requests for the people who were affected by the fraud until they sort it? I haven't been over to their forums to read about any of it.

Lisa - this is what happened to me...
The bad transactions in my account totalled $11 from Dec 31. They were reversed same day.
On Dec 28 I had a legitimate balance of $100.50, and on Jan 1 all but $4 (I think) had cleared so I requested (I think) 96.50 - the system automatically paid $85.50 withouth telling me I had punched in the wrong number or any explanation - but the transaction was complete at this point and I couldn't stop it.
The difference was the amount of the bad transactions, they reversed the transaction but I presume they are still waiting to clear. How many days does it take for sales to "clear" - is it 7 days?
If you take your actual balance, less the bad transactions does it bring you to less than $50?
-
I am betting you guys are right and it has something to do with the fraud transactions, but taking my total, minus the fraud transactions, minus the not payable money, still leaves $119.50 available. Yet I can't seem to request it.
Nick, I am glad you were able to request your money. Did you have any fraud transactions this past week?
-
I didn't have any transactions reversed. Maybe affected accounts are on hold?
-
I have had two fraud transactions in the past week at BigStock. The only ones I have had in over a year at BigStock. My last payout request was a couple of weeks ago and I was paid within 24 hours.
For anyone that has requested payout and did not get it to go through, rest assured it will as soon as things get sorted out in the "office" it will. BigStock is a fair and reliable company I have been with them for six or so years and no problems with payouts ever.

Yeah, I've been with them 6 years too, and I know they are a fair and reliable company. Nobody is attacking them, so not sure why you feel the need to defend them. :-\
I just would like to be able to request my money, or alternatively, to get some idea why I can't and when I will be able to.

Lisa....didn't you at one point show a negative balance when all that happened and they came back and said it had been taken care? Wasn't it something like $-70.00 something or am I thinking of someone else? That may be what the hold up is. Maybe they credited back to your account and it is reading as a new sale and it hasn't been 7 days yet.

Good suggestion Donna. I did have a negative balance briefly when the fraud was happening. That got sorted out, supposedly, but maybe it isn't entirely sorted after all.
Guess I will just have to be patient, but considering that there is already a 7 day wait at BigStock in requesting payout, and also that December was such a slow month, I could use the extra $.

I requested a payout at BigStock on January 1, and it accepted the request for most of my payable balance. But it left $71 in my payable balance, which was about the amount of the fraudulent credit card purchases on my account.
So on January 2, I requested payment for the $71 and it accepted my request.
Then on January 3, I got both my payments by Paypal.
I never had a negative balance, so maybe that is why I got paid. So I guess they are still paying, but have problems as a result of the fraud. I'm sure they will get it all sorted out in time.

Hi guys,
It looks like one of the earlier fixes we made in the commissions area didn't take effect, so we deployed it again. Please try again and let us know if you're still having issues. We're not limiting any functionality right now.
As mentioned earlier, all commissions should be correct in terms of amounts.
Your commissions are:
- Total commissions generated by your downloads
Minus:
- pending payments that you've already requested
- adjustments (reversed purchases, etc...)
- "new" commissions in the 7-day, non-payable holding period (an anti-fraud measure)
= The current payable amount you can withdraw
Of course, if we didn't show you the adjustment amounts, your payable commissions could change and you wouldn't know why. Hopefully the additional transparency is helpful for you.
If the above numbers don't seem to add up properly, please contact us.
If this area is still confusing for you and we need to adjust the interface language, just let us know.
Best,
Scott

Thanks for the update Scott :)
Looks like the fix worked. I was just able to put in my request successfully.
Much appreciation to your web team for staying on top of this!
