Sold . I turned the money into something I can use. At least that's the plan?  ;)

As usual I bought this in advance of the actual camera sale, but one financed the other, in the end.

Canon EF-S 35mm Macro lens, discontinued. I see this listed now for over the suggested retail when they were new. I wonder if my L lens will go up in value because almost everything is changing to R?

Problem was the 100mm Macro was too strong for some items. This allows me to choose the macro lens that fits best. And the nice built in LED ring light is pretty interesting.

Thanks, sell one toy, buy another. I did that with guitars and drums for about 40 years, now if I had all those old guitars... but that's why they are up there in price. People who grew up with them, now have the money and they can get what they couldn't when they were starting out. Worst one though was a Les Paul Custom, gold trim all that standard stuff, black. I traded for a Les Paul Recording, which was unusual then and now one of only 5000 made. Low impedance with some interesting controls.

Went to trade back and he said the black one was trashed. My mistake I sold him the Recording instead of asking for an even trade. He ended up not paying me (hey musicians what's new) the entire amount. I probably would have sold it for a camera or lens anyway?

Back to the 1Ds it came in a package deal with a couple of lenses I wanted. One of those was a 35mm TSE, which I've never used. I mean I put it on the camera, looked at things, put it back in the case. But some day, when I need it?  8) Or maybe flip it and start saving for a Canon R-7 which doesn't exist yet, if ever.
