50 megapixels :o :o :o. But I don't even want it If I was having the money. You barely can't go outside whit, no sealing, one hit and it's in thousand pieces.

How many lenses you can buy for this one? At which price?

But I wait for seeing pictures from it impatiently. The crops that Yuri Arcurs showed here on MSG at 39mpx was amazing . Just hope for the file size to be under 60mb :)

And how much does it cost?   :o

And how much memory do you need on your hard drive if you're gonna store more than about 10 photos?   ;D

Nice machine though.

according to wikipedia it is $37,000.. who knows if that is right.

I took a look at Yuri's website, and it didn't mention anything about hasselbads.. maybe he isn't using them anymore?? or perhaps I was looking at an old website.

That is why you buy insurance :)
I saw a guy walking downtown Oslo pleasantly swinging a Hasselblad H series camera (digital) around, on a casual walk with his wife :)

The next Nikon DSLR will come with that sensor, and filesize will be around 12Mb.........I hope:)

Maybe in a few years!?

Yuri still uses the Hasselblad. He's working on a new website (almost ready) so that's why there's limited information on his current site. Take a look at his iStockphoto profile page and you'll see the crop that Vonkara is talking about.

WOW, times haven't change, has it? when i was in school wearing short trousers  ;D  ...Hasselblad, Rolleiflex,Leica,... were like dream cameras to us. Only great photographers can afford them. Even more out of reach were view cameras Sinar with Rodenstock and Symmar lenses, with 8 by 10 negative costing more than my grandfather's cameras   ::)
Now with digital Hasselblad is still beyond most of our wallet reach.
Oh well, we can all still dream , can't we? :P

well, i can believe that  because in the days of 21/4 film format,
i remember my grandad saying a 'blad cost "as much as a cheap car".
nowadays, with the added technology, i am sure it costs a lot more
for this medium format digital.
