Is computational photography killing creativity and making all the images look alike?

I read that yesterday and agree with a lot of what was said. I don't use an iPhone 13, although I seriously considered switching back (I have a Pixel which has a great camera as long as you turn off the "portrait" and skin smoothing features which produce cr*p, IMO).

I have really enjoyed the night sight capabilities to handle very low light situations, but just about everything else, particularly the fakery around bokeh, is ersatz junk. As long as you can turn that off if you want to, I'd be fine.
