Title: Interesting ISO and noise article (use full stops)

Take a look at that link.  Interesting information about why ISO 200 produces less noise than ISO 160.

That is to say, full stops (100, 200, 400, 800) are better than 1/3 stop (125, 160, 240 etc...)

I learned about this about a year ago, but it pertained to the 30D camera instead.  I was quite surprised at the claims.  It seems that those "in-between" ISOs are actually not real.  That is, they are software generated, hence the higher noise.

Also, the 30D "real" ISOs are not what you would think.  They are 160, 320, 640, and 1280.

Wow. I'm going to find the way to set the ISO to pass from 200 to 400 and forgot the middle ones. Even if it must be not too much difference, it can make a post processing a bit easier. Thanks!
