Title: My nifty 50 arrived!

Bought a Canon 50mm f1.8II. At  $84.95 the freight was half as much again.

Cannot believe how sharp this lens is. And I am expecting some great portraits. Put about 80 shots through it last night. Amazing. Best value for money Canon offers.

I have heard this many times about the "nifty 50" and have been considering it as my next "must have" Canon lens.

I bought an used old 50 1.8 mk1 and it costed me more than the new one.
But Im very happy with this lens it is very very sharp.
