I bet this commercial wins lots of awards. ;D

They used 10 photographers and nearly 70,000 photos to create it and used the EOS-1D Mark III to produce the photos.

That's funny! Why using the monster 1D Mark III for promoting the Rebel XSi?

Maybe when they worked on the commercial, there weren't production Xsi cameras available?

I love the music and the way the scenes transition into one another and the last shot is amazing!

Win awards for what? They use another camera, more than five times as expensive, to take the photos while leaving the impression throughout the commercial that this is the kind of images you can take with an XSi. That's dishonest and a disgrace. In many countries, they would easily be forced to withdraw that commercial.

I guess that probably goes for the compact camera commercials as well  :P

Well I will allow myself to turn away from the topic a bit but I was always wondering one thing so this reminded me of that, and I just have to ask you a question.

When you rent a DVD movie , does it contain commercials,  not movie trailers , but just regular commercials ?

Thats just pissing me off , when I have to see longest versions of commercials ever , and quite a few of them , with skipping and FF option locked  , and I have paid to watch that movie , not as I'm watching some commercial TV or something ?  Obviously its legal here , but maybe the distributors are even breaking the law I wouldn't be surprised .Anyway  I was just wondering is that happening in  other countries too ?

Same thing goes for cinema , the movie is always 10-15 minutes late and you have to watch idiotic dish washing commercial and stuff like that , thats identical as all of the other ones that promote same style product.
