Pentax has just unveiled a medium format camera which shoots at 40MP

The price is said to be around $10,000 which actually sounds pretty cheap when comparing it to a Hasselblad or Canon 1Ds Mark III. I suppose the 5D mark II is still the optimal camera for microstock but I have to say that medium format DOES look enticing!

I owned 3 Pentax 645s and most lenses. Sold the works when I went digital. Wish I kept the lenses now. Some incredible optics for the price.

For 10k I'd rather have this http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/657533-REG/Mamiya_322122_DM22_Digital_SLR_Camera.html (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/657533-REG/Mamiya_322122_DM22_Digital_SLR_Camera.html)
