Any thoughts on the Sony recently announced A7iii "striping" issue?

Have a look here: https://www.dpreview.com/samples/9120111657/sony-a7-iii-sample-gallery

Where are "a couple of photos" they referred to? I feel my time is wasted. Dpreview is now click bait?

DPreview aren't click bait they usually provide reasonable reviews

For now I will give them the benefit of the doubt that this will be fixed in the final version.

Be that as it may, the entire gallery of sample images is almost comically terrible. I don't understand why Sony would shoot themselves in the foot like that. Those skin colors...

So you didn't know I was just being sarcastic? I thought everyone knew that they are the single most valuable source of info in the universe.

They said the problem could be seen in a couple of photos and provided two links for each of them. I wanted to see what it looked like so I clicked but it led to the same whole gallery with a whole bunch of images.

For commissioned work I use a Hasselblad H6D-100C and its also got some similarities but very vague in comparisson to this. I think all digital cams nowadays have got some small flaw or another and I am not sure fast or slow lenses matters?...although the striping examples of the jpg images are really quite unacceptable.

No I did not. Sarcasm doesn't translate well on forum posts without some obvious indicator like  ::)

According to dpreview, the Sony A7III artifacts are due in some way to the on-sensor phase detect autofocus pixels which I don't believe the H6D has. FWIW, I agree that it is unacceptable and am frankly surprised by the A7III artifacts. Digging further, apparently other models (A6000) have exhibited similar phenomena.
