Hi all a friend of mine whants to sell his nikon d50
It is in prety good nick the sensor just needs cleaning. He is seling it with a 75mm - 200mm lens which is now only manual focus as the auto part broke.
What would be a resonable offer for this equipment?
as I have no idea on prices for second hand camera equipment
thanks

You can get a new Pentax K100D which has built in shake-reduction for 400,- so i wouldn't spend more than 250,- for a dated and used camera with inferior specs than the K100D.

I suggest checking eBay and other online sites for current prices.

Its dollar or euro as prices for cameras are the same in dollar and euro although the euro is much more worth than the dollar :-\
So it depends where are you living.

Like Geo said, check Ebay. I have a D50 and for shooting stock I'd recommend getting something a bit newer like a D40. While I wouldn't call the D50 a noisy camera I'm spending way too much time cleaning up light noise. I'm planning on picking up a D80.

How much $USD is your limit mupwi?
I can get you access to a drop shipping price list. Like the others said, you might be better off getting something new.
