Hey everyone
Have just started doing some color correction and grading of the video from my sony a7III, but shutterstock rejects most of it.
Settings : 4k XVAC 100 MBps
Editing : Premiere - mostly saturation, exposure, contrast and adding some color on the highlights and shadows. Exporting in H264 at 100mbps with max bitrate 200mbps
Where am i going wrong? I've heard the video from the a7iii is very detailed and editable

Are they not saying why they're rejecting it? Is it definitely due to your color correction/grading? Could be something else.

I've noticed SS becoming very picky with what they approve. Either it's a couple overly-strict reviewers, or SS overall has raised the quality bar (which I suppose is a good thing, albeit frustrating for those of us without cinema cameras).
You can try a few things, and I've done all of these with some success.
1. Resubmit. You may get another, more lenient reviewer who will take it.
2. Don't do anything to your clip and just submit as-is (other than trimming and removing the audio).
3. Affect as you see fit, but down-sample to HD and maybe throw in minimal de-noising.
Good luck.

What another asked, what are the rejection reasons?

There is no sence in ss rejections...keep resubmit it..it'll go through next time...

I agree with others: SS video rejections are totally, absolutely random. 80% of rejections get accepted when you resubmit them, and the remaining few will get accepted the third time.
Encoding at 100 MBps is fine, but if you are getting a max bitrate, you are using Variable Bit Rate.
You should be using Constant Bit Rate instead, still at 100

This is the error message I usually end up getting
Noise / Artifacts / Pixelation / Posterization: Clip contains noise, compression artifacts, pixelation and/or posterization that is prominent and/or affects the main subject/focus of the clip.

Well that's a catch all reason, doesn't mean all of them apply... and if you're shooting on an A7 III, outputting at 100Mbps, and you're not using extreme colour correction/grading... then the most likely culprit will be noise. Are these low light shots or shots with a lot of dark colours? You might need to add some kind of noise reduction... Premiere and After Effects have them but they're not all that good (make the image looks super soft), but you can get third party plugins that work well. Neat Video and Denoiser III.

Some are night shots, others are daylight shots. How do you denoise in premiere with no plugins? Maybe that will cure this problem

What ISO are you typically shooting at?

Had shots from ISO 200 to almost 4000 i think

After Effects has remove grain... sorry, I assumed Premiere had the same but apparently not. I use Denoiser III from Red Giant, which is pretty good. $100 but I got it on sale at $49. This might help though...

Shouldn't have a problem with noise as long as you are not pushing it in post....especially for the lower ISOs
-
Apparently that has not been the case. And somehow I've never been able to remove noise in premiere
