Sony A7III : how editable is the 100mbps video

(1/3) > >>

Hey everyone

Have just started doing some color correction and grading of the video from my sony a7III, but shutterstock rejects most of it.

Settings : 4k XVAC 100 MBps

Editing : Premiere - mostly saturation, exposure, contrast and adding some color on the highlights and shadows. Exporting in H264 at 100mbps with max bitrate 200mbps

Where am i going wrong? I've heard the video from the a7iii is very detailed and editable

Are they not saying why they're rejecting it? Is it definitely due to your color correction/grading? Could be something else.

odesigns:
I've noticed SS becoming very picky with what they approve.  Either it's a couple overly-strict reviewers, or SS overall has raised the quality bar (which I suppose is a good thing, albeit frustrating for those of us without cinema cameras).

You can try a few things, and I've done all of these with some success.

1. Resubmit.  You may get another, more lenient reviewer who will take it.
2. Don't do anything to your clip and just submit as-is (other than trimming and removing the audio).
3. Affect as you see fit, but down-sample to HD and maybe throw in minimal de-noising.

Good luck.

What another asked, what are the rejection reasons?
