you are right.
The flies invented that 100 million years ago.
Multiple ocelli.
and like with engines in cars, metal and glass has maybe come to the end.

Fine with me, im tired of all the heavy equipment.

And you were correct. Not sure if it's always going to be a prime lens, because of the structure but so what. If it does all that they say it does, especially the parts about CA and distortion, pretty nice.

So when will the HDV/18MP credit card camera, that we can carry in our wallet be coming out? LOL

I want the 800MM flat lens for my DSLR.

We've been seeing announcements of miraculous new lens (and sensor, i.e. fovean) technologies for many years and none of them have made it to the mass market yet.  It takes a long, long time for anything like this to become a reality.
