If anyone is looking to sell off a Canon EF-S 18-55 IS (image stabilized version) lens, or if they are planning on buying the Canon Rebel 450D soon, please let me know.  I am highly interested.

Also, I'm looking for either the Lowepro Fastpack or Slingshot (200 series) if anyone wants to sell theirs.

THANKS  ;D

Why is this freaking lens on backorder EVERYWHERE?  Come on Canon, what are you sticking all of your stock into the Xsi kits that are going to hit stores on the 27th?

I bought mine two weeks ago without any problems. But it cost 179 EUR....
Compared to the US, European prices of Canon gear suck.

"Come on Canon, what are you sticking all of your stock into the Xsi kits "

Oh my God! Are you that naive to think that the marketing giants at Canon read this forum?
If they did my next question would be....Do you think they're gonna stop and ask you which store or supplier
you would like them to stock, so you could spend you measly few dollars on their new lens?

The world does not revolve around you, and you are not the center on the universe.
All you demonstrate is your immature patience and inability to deal with situations you get emotionally wrapped up in.

I suggest you start putting your camera to use, and stop wasting time crying like a baby on this forum for adults.

BOB you're such an instigator, but that's just why I love you.

I am please to announced I have found an 18-55 IS (thanks to fredmiranda.com forums) for $157.29 shipped from a nice lady from Texas.  Not bad, right?

Don't tell me my 50mm f1.8 is just as functional as an 18-55mm.  I need to be able to shoot wide, not just 80mm (the 1.6 crop factor)
