I didn't notice that they introduced that. But, hey. Seriously? $10 for a Paypal payout? They earn so little on commission that they have to scalp contributors even on that thing?

I think you misunderstood, $10 if you put in your info wrong and it bounces
"Please ensure information is correct, as returned payments are subject to a $10.00 USD fee"

Yeah, it's only if payments are returned due to a wrong Paypal address.
By the way, we can now get paid in other currencies than USD, at much more reasonable conversion rates than Paypal's!

Yeah that's what I found out when I recently requested payout to paypal. It would be so nice if other sites allowed us to choose our currency
