Decided I'm done with CanStock, fed up with no sales every time I refresh Microstockr.

Got a relatively small port but it's made me hundreds on some sites and thousands on the big ones. Uploaded around half my port to CanStock and has made me a whopping $16 in two and a half years.
At this point I've concluded I'm actually cannibalizing my sales by offering my photos on a site where sales are so low I'll never see the money, If someone really want's my photo better they get it from a site I'll see a payout from.

Requested they close my account and send me the outstanding balance.

How does not selling anything cannibalise your sales?

It not very likely but I don't want someone choosing to buy a photo of mine on CanStock when it's available elsewhere on sites where I can make min payout in the next decade.
Maybe cannibalised is the wrong word, more like wasted sales. If the buyer had chosen a site other than CanStock I could have realised that money by now.

I believe that in most cases buyers will choose sites, not the artists. I don't upload to them now, but I haven't deleted my port either and although infrequent I've had some big sales on canstock.

I found out that Canstock was also placing my images on FreeArt.com... I never authorized giving away my photos for free at any size.  I waited until my payment went over $100 and am now deleting every photo.  BTW - they have never gotten back to me regarding my complaint and this is what they want.  They get thousands of photographer that place photos and forget or never come back.  The profit from the photographer's frustration. I was gone for years until I did a search on my name and found out that I had sold photos, but was never notified.  Dreamstime always notifies me and I'm also very happy with their app that allows you to see all of your transactions.  CanStock is obsolete and they scam people by keeping a good amount of the money - I don't care what their release says.  If you are unhappy with your relationship and find out that they have given your photos to a third party and give away 8x10 photos of your work for free- that is a gross misrepresentation for a royalty-free company.
