In light of LOs demise and no sales in 2008. I have left Canstock.
I raised a support ticket about 5 hours ago and my account has been deleted. They didn't send me my $1.50 which is a little dishonorable, I would have settled for them sending it to a charity, but its not worth getting worked up over.

Just a question...
Minimum payout is $50. Now, why on earth would you expect them to send you $1.50 if you closed your account?
Sure, they owe it to ya, but you are breaking your agreement with them, in which case you forfeit all unpayable income.
And $1.50 was only payable by one company in Feb, when LO paid out the carnies who had $1 or more in their account.
.. just curious

Snapvillage payout all outstanding amounts at year end, which if you had one sub sale would be 30c. They paid be $1.50 at year end so its certainly doable.
In any case I didn't want to wait til 2041 for my first payout from Canstock ...

I left CanStock a few months ago, but I don't think it's "dishonorable" of them - if you close your account - to withhold your $1.50. I deliberately waited until I hit another $50 payout as I didn't want to leave any money on the table. If the business closes up shop, I think that's something else entirely - I know they're not contractually obligated to, but I think paying contributors is the right thing to do.
CanStock hasn't done a good job building the sales at the site, but Duncan's an honest guy and I don't think he was "dishonorable" in this case.
