The last week I have had a canstock download every day.  I usually go for 2 weeks without a download... is this a sign of better times I wonder??

No, well me neither, I am still waiting for my first payout with almost 1000 images.... not too good.

How long does it take to get approved at Canstock.  I submitted my application over a week ago and still no approval.

however, judging from the comments above, I am not sure if it is worth it.

I have stopped uploading to them a while ago.  I think other sites may be more worth the effort, but others may have another opinion.

I got approved just after my last post.  I am now hoping my first batch gets over 90% approval so my upload limit increased as uploading 10 per day could take a while.  Sitll have to wait 6 days for approvals according to there home page (given it took 6 days to get approval when at that stage it said 3 days I am not holding my breath)

Is anyone getting sales from them.  I am sitting on just one $1 DL and it has the same photos as everyone else.

Is anyone actibely uploading to them or is everyone waiting for sales??

Iam giving them one last go, and getting up to date with the again (uploading all my images).. and then i will see if i continue or not.  There isn't too much action there, and they are the lowest earner out of all the sites i activly submit to... so i dunno.

They are slow .. but I still keep my photo there ... average about 20USD a month.. so I am still able to get a payout every 6 months or so  ::)

I have had pictures up on Canstock for almost a year and have sold $2 worth of images!   :o

I do MUCH better on Shutterstock, iStock and BigStock (and I don't have any problems with the server...)

They and 123 were beginning to pick up slightly for awhile, but this month it appears they are both  in the toilet again as far as downloads. Fotolia and stockexpert, on the other hand, have both really picked up for me.

I have almost reached 1000 sales at Canstock but it has taken almost 2000 images online and 16 months to achieve. Occasionally threads appear there asking why the sales are so bad and a few of the photogs there jump to the defence of Canstock. I make a payout every couple of months but I make more at my top two sites in a day than I do at CS in a month. To me this suggests that it's not really in the game, no matter what anyone else says. Mind you, $100 every other month is still $100 so I have no intention of not uploading. Just hoping that they experience a growth spurt at some point.

Interestingly, most of my downloads are for single sales so there subscription model doesn't seem to have had an impact on designers.
