Hi All,

Has anyone noticed Canstock's website being really, really, really slow?   :o

The main page (canstockphoto.com) loads fast, but when I want to view my portfolio or look at my unfinished files, it takes like forever (like several minutes) to load those particular pages.

Is anyone else experiencing this?  ???

but I get slow opening of the main page too. My impression is that it's been getting gradually slower over the last few days.

I wrote support and asked Duncan about this situation and he said "Be Patient", we know about it and we are working on it.  I hope so soon because it is dreadful.

Hi Everyone,

It seems to be much faster for me now than it was earlier this morning -- which was 5 am - 7:30 am New York City time.

Maybe their servers were especially busy at those times.. or they were doing some sort of maintenance or something.

I have noticed in the past few weeks though that the CS website can be really slow at times.

Thanks Ducan!

This why this site is important! The owners of MS Companies monitor our conversions and get back to all of us!

Site virtually unusable last day or two. 5 minutes to load a page. Please let us know when it's safe to get back in the pool.

Also reviews are in not chronological, just batches here and there.

Now I just need my sales to go back to the old speed. 1 sale since 26 June... never seen such a drop on any agency.

My last batches were reviewed pretty fast though there were some random selections though some of them are still pending, may be random patterns. I had one sale of $1.5 in April, since then there is nothing.  Low numbers are hitting this site. Few views and inconsistent performance.  My numbers are around 365 images with one sale. While I was checking the profile just few seconds before. I get this

Can Stock Photo is Temporarily Unavailable. We are conducting scheduled maintenance. Please check back shortly in a few minutes.

Good to see that things are happening there.

Hi PZF,

I had the same problem today at 10 am New York Time when I tried to FileZilla-ing some .jpgs to them.  I got connected to their server but their server failed to reply with any protocol parameters. I retried later and was able to successfully get my files FTPed.

Give them a try again... perhaps their server is not so busy now... or it's now more awake after having its morning cup of coffee.  ;)  ;D

I think it will be a while before I spend any more time on CS.  Had one sale in the month of July... made 30 cents.  Woohoo!   :P

They told me its luck of the draw. They see this happen more often, but its most of the time just a fluke month and then things pick up again.

They also said, the search is not favoring anyone or anything.

I guess August will be a good month then for me. July I had 3 DLs for 1.25, already have 1 dl for 1.50 now. So I guess they were right  ;)
