Title: Model release reviews

I am new both to this site and relatively new to the stock photography industry.

I have a quick question regarding the review times at Canstock and want to see if I can tap into others experiences. I find the website easy to use and the review turnaround is superb. However in the last week I have uploaded my first images with a model release and they are still awaiting eview and other images have been reviewed and are up on the site.

I am guessing that the model release will be reviewed first and then the images reviewed subsequently, is that a reasonable assumption or is it worth dropping a note to support.

Yeah, you are right, images with a release will take longer to review if it is a new release

One thing I will mention that sometimes confuses people - is that when you upload a new model release, it must first go through it's own approval process with our legal team. Once the release is approved, then the related images will be released for inspection. So as a result, those first images with a new release may take a little longer to be approved, especially if you upload on a weekend. This is only for new releases. Video files also go through a different process and can take a bit longer.

Post by: Artmyth on May 06, 2011, 07:24: A week is a bit longer than normal for MR reviews. You might want to check out your release manager to make sure there were no problems with the releases you submitted by going to My portfolio > Unfinished > Release Manager. If issues were discovered with your release they will appear there in red.

If there are no red flags, U might want to post a support ticket on CanStockPhoto

have you used those releases before?

The wait time is only for images with a new release.
