I've been with them for years. Sales trickle in, lowest earning site. But payments always come through ok. They do say it can take two weeks to receive payment. I think payments are made either on the 1st or the 15th of the month.
I'm about to cash out now so will see what happens...

I have heard of someone else having issues with delayed payments but it eventually got solved. Apparently this issue is more common with traditional checks sent in the regular mail.
I would imagine especially now with every one going back to sending cards in the "snail mail.

Don't know what to tell you - but I requested my money on the 24th and got it today.

they are certainly not dead. Not yet  >:(

I submitted a support request on last Tuesday and wrote an email, both were answered on Wednesday.

My question was about the keyword rejections, the answer was "We do indeed discourage locations in the keywords, unless the image shows a landmark or something that's iconic for the country or region. If it's for instance a photo of the Eiffel Tower, please add "Paris", it it's an image of a generic building, then don't add the location."

So almost all my travel images were rejected for locations in keywords. Of course, I am not going to delete keywords for a half-dead non selling agency.

On the other hand my support request from October has not been answered till now. So either their support system is not working well, or they are just selective.

Then you guys need to be think twice before upload to canstockphoto, they can selectively answer the email which means they can selectively pay the commission, and you may end up like me which can not get any payment and can not cancel accout.
This policy is most probably from a new cheap "young potential" or management job hopper hired. They will see the results of this not thinked decision. This devalues the library. And contributors are again the guinea pigs of an agency.

Yes this happened to me 10 years ago or so....Never ask for a check. It will take lots of time. Not only did it take a couple of months for me to get check, but worse because  Canstock is based in Canada my bank charged me 200 bucks to cash check as I am in  USA.... Always do PayPal or some form like that....

Wow, your bank charged you $200 to cash a Canadian check!? Maybe you should look for another bank. I'm in Canada so I didn't get charged but I also receive checks from the US and my bank doesn't take anything to cash them.

I've had a fee and a hold but never that big of a fee. The answer back then was deposit the check into an account and wait, then they charged me much less.
But your post makes me thing of something else. If you were paid in Canadian Dollars, every dollar is only worth 78c US. Without knowing how much, there could be part of what they took, because of exchange rates and fees on top of that.

Example, $500 CAN would be $390 US and then fees and exchange fees.

Wow, paid by check sounds like it's really bad. I got my DACS one year, they don't use Paypal, so it's only available by bank transfer. Rounded, I got $45 and $15 went to bank fees. Banks sure do OK when they are taking fees, and all of this is supposed to be electronic?

Canstockphoto pays in US currency. There's a saying, if you don't ask you don't get. Sometimes you can get banks to waive their fees, especially if you've been with them for years. Telling them that you'll take your business elsewhere won't hurt either.
