Dear Canstock,
Why oh why do you give my photos to some random site that doesn't even have the integrity to give me credit for my photographs? Not yours, not theirs, MY PHOTOGRAPHS? Why can't you pick your partners better, or at least make a few legitimate demands on our behalf before you give them our content?
Rant over. I'm just in a pissy mood this morning but I am genuinely sick of seeing this happen over and over again. Just wasted 20 minutes trying to trace the source and it led right back to you and/or fotosearch.

My name is included in the credit line.
How did you find out that these are from Canstock?
Only a few of mine are at Reflexstock.

Hi Pixart,
It's part of our privacy policy that we never share contributor's names, so you'll notice that even on Can Stock we don't disclose your name to buyers. Displaying your username on a distributor's site would be a little unusual, as it would imply that your account is with them. So as a result, no public credit name appears.
click_click,
If your name appears in their credit line, the image would not have been provided by us.

Duncan,
They still haven't addressed the watermark issue as of yet.
I have images on Reflex with CS id #'s and no watermark.
Thanks
Steve

Thanks Duncan for the heads up.
Now I'm wondering where my images are coming from that end up on Reflexstock...???
Does anyone know what agency is affiliated with them?

hi, found one of mine and it is from panthermedia

Do you wipe the EXIF data, if not the copyright name would appear in the EXIF (well at least that what happens with Canon cameras if you set it up to do so) and maybe that's where the credit line was obtained from.

Same here - not with Panthermedia.
Reflex also seems to be affiliated with Ingram Publishing http://www.ingrampublishing.com/ (http://www.ingrampublishing.com/)
where I can find some of my images but I can't seem to figure out where they got them from.
My issue is they list photographer by a number; and they show supplier as Ingram.

An old thread said there is also a 123 affiliation. The file numbers that I found (in the right click data) can be traced back to both Canstock and Fotosearch, so maybe they even came from Fotosearch.
I know that privacy laws in Canada are challenging, but I would rather have my name attached than the privacy. Especially when it comes to credits for book covers etc. Not so much for a photo on some teenager's blog.

Hi All,
We do not do business with any of the entities mentioned in this thread except for reflexstock who is our API partner
Much thanks.
Alex.
