What happened to CS? for several days no sales and stats no change!!! :(

Until few months ago it was a good "low earner" for me. But in the last three months it was terrible. May be I stop upload there.

It goes up and down quite easy to upload so I'd stick with it.

For the last times: almost zero $, difficulty in upload, very long time for approval, stats doesn't works...It seems a little bit abandoned from the owners. I wait they resolve their own issues before uploading back.

Sales stopped pretty much about 3 months ago. I am wondering if they lost a few corporate accounts who purchased big volumes. Either way, CanStockPhoto and DT are next to fall off my upload list along with SF. I believe I am watching the erosion of micro stock before my eyes, where it won't be worth uploading to anyone but 2-3 agencies.

It happens now!! The only ones where really worth are: SS, IS and Adobe/FT. Based on my experience.

Sales dropped significantly the last couple of months. On top of that they reject just about anything I uploaded, out of my last batch of 10 images or so, only my worst quality image was approved :o
Same images were approved by other agencies including SS and FT.
I'm waiting for payout, after that I'm closing my account there.

Agree, but I don't have the patience to upload to IS.
So I just upload to SS and FT.
Find it!! because really worth. I make, on IS, more or less the half of that I do on SS. On FT only less than 1/8.

CS also have a really irritating habit of rejecting images for keywords. When the keywords are 100% fine. Azure - synonym for sky-blue - recently caused a rejection. And the object in the photo WAS this colour.
But no stress. They don't sell anyway.

The same. Name of the saint for statue did not work for them. No stress too. Others sell.

September BME and October off to a good start as well Before that it was really bad during summer

All rejections are marked as "previously rejected". By accident there was uploaded an editorial file. First time but they want to mark it as already rejected before

CS is doing just fine for me.

Sales are mediocre for me..... plus the FTP upload is not working today.. been like that for a few days at least

Any web based industry is volatile, unless you are a huge like Amazon and make your own weather system. As such leaders today can quickly fall from grace. I don't think it makes sense to close any accounts, it just takes money out of your own pocket. Because players like CS are so small, they are inherently volatile. If you have the time, I think the big 4, the middle and the top low earners are part of a decent photography business.

In their latest email they say they added 7 million new images last year. I wonder how many new customers....I fear nowhere near as many!

My last sale on CS was on Nov. 19. I don't have many sales there, but at least I was getting a few sales per month, a few sub sales and maybe some credit sales, so I was slowly reaching to the payout balance. But since Nov. 19, nothing, zero. Not even a single sub sale. I don't know what happened there. I'm stuck at 43$ for almost two months now.

I had an instant sale this January, then, after 3 months, I would upload again something but the web uploader seems does not work again!!!! anyone else tried to upload today?

vector uploading don't work for me today

I tried to upload few photos, and when uploading is finished, it says "no unfinished files".

It no surprise, that on CanStockPhoto main page says "Current Review Time: 39 Minutes!", when their upload system doesn't work.

it's not working for me also,I am trying to upload vectors for a couple of days, but after uploading there's no files in the "unfinished" section. I will try to contact support.

Same problem uploading using Chrome, uploading works using Windows Explorer.
Looks like the long 'processing' problem is back again.

I uploaded few photos yesterday. All went through except one, it's still in "processing" mode one day later.

Yes, it today does work!!

support responded (my uploading was not working for vectors), and they tried to help with no succes. In the end I cleared cookies in my browser which solved the problem. It might work for others (I use chrome).

Yep processing is taking a long time plus they rejected all of my last batch..Update and most of the one after....and didn't tell me. Most of the time they are quite lenient but every now and then a harsh review takes place. Sales have tanked too recently.......o well
