i knew it was hopeless but i asked 'support' (when i finally found the hidden link) why all are being rejected & i got the ridiculous answer that they were rejected for quality!

Only 4 approved out of 7 for my last batch. Seems to be that time when sites were accepting flood of low quality stuf is finished. Maybe not a so bad news. Now, they should clean the database too.

After hundreds of my pictures were rejected within 2-5 seconds, I tried myself at a new discipline today and made some "different" pictures.

What we see there is Gaussian distributed image noise and different colors and sizes - or in short random numbers.
6 images submitted and none of them were immediately rejected?!
(see attached image)

Unfortunately I didn't get an answer from the support either, so I guess I'll have to find out for myself what else is accepted.

To be continued...

These images give me serious VCR tracking issue flashbacks.

I'd asked how images could be rejected seconds after being uploaded - here's 'Ivy's response

The Canva Content team aims to build a diverse and expansive library where users would be able to find the most amazing and relevant images they can use for their every designing need. While we appreciate the artistic mind and tireless efforts our contributors put in every image they submit to us, we need to ensure they pass our quality guidelines.

We've reviewed your most recent image submission and found that most of them do not adhere to the Canva image quality standards. Based on overall artistic appeal, usability and technical quality, we are unable to accept them into the library.

You may refer to our Contributor Quality Guidelines for Photos and Graphics for your reference.

I'm now closing this for now, but feel free to reach out should you have another question or concern. We'd be more than happy to help!

We appreciate your understanding.

of course they didnt answer my basic question

in addition, i pointed out those guidelines didnt contain anything relevant to image contributors

@Cascoly
Thank you for sharing!

That's what I call a terse response with a standard answer.
But at least I now know what answer I will get, if they ever respond to my support request on this topic.

With every further attempt to place images there, I get the impression that they want to get rid of us (which I would understand in purely economic terms) - but then where are the images supposed to come from?

Because let's be honest, the AI offered by Canva doesn't even begin to replace any photos at the moment.

@DannyCanva:
In case the contributors are of any interest to you, a statement here would be really helpful :-)

Have a sunny day@all

next response from canva 'support':

We'll forward your feedback to our team about the review process. We improved our tools which caused efficient review turnaround time. This is because of the backlog we encountered in the last few months.

rejecting everything will certainly reduce the backlog!

a.k.a. "We use AI to review images instantly and filter out images the AI consideres as not suitable before the rest is passed on to the real human reviewers".

I for one am done with Canva - I got about 40-60 images through out of the last 2,000 or so I submitted, everything else was rejected instantly.

I get no response from support and the Magic Creator payment percentages are so absurdly low that it's not even worth talking about ($0.25 last month on 10k assets).

Then the royalty earnings are also lower every month, even if the applies and exports increase.

It just doesn't make sense if you can't get your material on the site and since obviously nobody from Canva cares either, it doesn't matter.

So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish.
