oky:
hi,
i am considering starting to be a contributor on canvas, i have been contributor at two microstock agencies.

I want to know how much you usually get paid per download on canva? And can the images uploaded on Canva be uploaded in other agencies?

If you guys have any suggestions for a newbie contributor to canva, I'm excited to hear about them

Nobody actually knows.  For regular downloads it is around 35 cents.  Most nowadays are subscription downloads, where they just give you a sum and don't tell how many DLs it was for so no way no know, really - probably a cent or two if we're lucky.  The first month or two they provided the number of downloads and it was ridiculously high for the amount of money earned so the amount per DL is very low.

Yes, that is no problem - so you can get 10 cents at SS or fractions of pennies at iStock per DL on the same images you are receiving mystery amounts for at Canva.  It's very exciting.

Canva was excellent when they first started and was one agency that was growing sales rapidly.  Not so much any more (for me at least).  Of course I've hardly submitted anything the past several years so that might have something to do with it as well.

Firn:
I can confirm that it's cents you get.

I uploaded around 10 images to Canva some months ago when I got approved as a contributors there. The images never showed up anywhere in my approved section (by then it was taking them months to approve images, that seems to have changed by now), so I didn't upload anything after that. I came back to check my account this month and have earned 3 cents with subscription sales...

Braznyc:
Hmmm... They pay cents for the downloads?
That's probably explains why the owners of these stock/clipart sites are billionaires while paying the contributors just enough to buy a small bag of peanuts.

This would be hilarious if we were not talking about "businesses"... For them is a business, for the contributors a "charity".

Does canva accept video for sale?
