Title: How to get accepted at Canva?
Post by: MilanStojanovic on October 13, 2016, 21:54
Hi, I have my portfolio > www.milanstojanovic.com (http://www.milanstojanovic.com), and I got rejected as a contributor photographer few times.
What am I doing wrong, what kind of images I'm missing to provide?

Hi,

You have nice photos but I think that your photos are more unique for Canva database. I think that Canva want more stock photos oriented (products, nature, landscapes, backgrounds etc...)

Have you been contacted telling about the rejection? Because I've submitted application 2 times, and I've got not any word from them in several months

I think you are just not a good fit for what they want.  They used to accept almost anybody but now are more selective and only accept those who they feel will have a high sales potential with their particular customers.  For example, all isolations have to be completely isolated and submitted as PNGs.  You have a very interesting portfolio but it is just not what they want.  I would forget about it and move on unless you want to focus on isolations - you will do much better elsewhere.

Agree on trying more "creative" agencies, micro-- or macro-- unless you want to go the all on white & old cheesy stock look.

Your photos definitely deserve a better home than selling for buttons on Canva.  Macro agency is the way to go but you are a long way from my areas of specialism so someone else here will suggest the best ones to try but good luck, great pictures.

Hi Milan!!

Continue improving your images and forguet "only 0,35$" sites. Search for better agencies.

Good job but try for more natural lifestyle pics.
