Would this run PS CS5 pretty good? :P

Broken link.

$8500, and it didn't even include a mouse, monitor, or HD. At least they included a keyboard.
Those were the days! Thank goodness they're gone. ;D

Electronics are the one thing I am continually surprised by the advances in technology and the dropping of prices. With 2 MB Ram you couldn't even open a P&S pic.
Long live Moore's Law.

I actually had such a computer once.
Was quite an upgrade from the previous XT.

My first "real" computer was an Apple IIe Just under $3000 by the time I got done. I saved the sales slip as a wall hanging.
By the time I got to a 286 I was building my own computers, but they were still fairly expensive. Liked the ad DOS 3.3 and VGA. That's better then the EGA monochrome screens!
I figure this will be next for me. I have a closet full of laptops, five desktops are up and functional KVM on a group of four, this one is a stand alone on a different desk. Netbook was a nice toy, it's my GPS when I'm on road trips.

"Amazon announced today its new Kindle Fire, a 7-inch Android-based tablet that will cost $199. In addition, the e-commerce giant also unveiled the the Kindle Touch, which will run $99 and a standard Kindle for the reduced price of $79."
$199? I think the tablets have hit my price point. I may not really need one, but it's just so cool, I might have to have one! I see my Christmas gift to myself on the radar. Hey, do these do Elements or any photo editing software? That and a pocket camera, I'm a mobile Microstock production company.
