Hey Guys,

Quick question: which white balance do you set for Microstock durin calibration? I always feel undecided between 5800 and 6500 (generally recommended)...

Thanks...

White balance depends of the place where you are.

If you are in completely closed room illuminated with balanced light, there are different neons 5500 >> 6500 K, it is okay to set the white balance to the same value of the neon.

But if you are in a room where at the morning the sun enter by the window, at the afternoon there is no sun, and at evening you have incandescent bulbs to light your room you cannot set a "right" white balance

By the way i would recommend 6500K too, but preferably keeping the room enough dark, without direct lights on the computer, or reflection of lights on the monitor.
