You already have DDR5 in memory and SSD NVMe PCIe 4.0 (fast and the best for photogammetry). i do recommend RTX 4080 QHD. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series are really better. They are powered by NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture that delivers a quantum leap in both performance and AI-powered graphics. if you also do graphics you can take advantage for ray tracing and FPS games with the lowest latency if you like to play games too.

Anyway for a laptop a possible solution for really smooth 4K and a reasonable good 6K video would be something like the Portable Razer Blade 16 i9 13950HZ 32GB DDR5 1TB RTX 4080 QHD+ 240Hz W11. It already comes with 4 USB ports (C and A 3.2 Gen 2) , 1 hdmi 2.1 and 1 UHS-II card reader.

In 2019 I bought two high quality Mac pro laptops (when I had some money). They are still working well today.

I would look for a computer with a very good graphics card and memory if you are planning to do anything with video.

Working with Topaz Video ai is quite a challenge even for small clips.

Next year I might have to look into an upgrade or maybe even a trade in for a better system.

For video my computers are getting slow.

I had my first Mac for 8 years. My second Mac lasted 10 years and I still use it for some legacy stuff that doesn't work with Sonoma. I bought this Mac - 13", M2 chip, 16Gb memory and 1Tb disk - about 18 months ago and it does everything I want.

I don't do video and this setup is absolutely perfect for my needs.

But modern PCs, the processors, the graphics cards, and everything else, is equal, and sometimes better.

All of my professional life I worked with PCs starting with the IBM XT around 1983 (before that I worked with IBM mainframes). Around 2008 I got my first Macbook for personal use and I loved it. It was much better than the Lenovo laptops the company issued us with.

I'm not one of those guys who lines up for the upgrade. I'm on Macbook No. 3 in 16 years and probably won't upgrade this one for another 5-7 years. So that will be 3 in 21-23 years. So long as the machine meets my needs and doesn't fail I'll keep it. Macbook No2 still works and I still use it for a couple of apps. But it didn't have enough memory or hard disk and the battery was done which is why I upgraded. Who knew in 2013 that I would need more than 8GB  memory and 250Gb hard disk?

I'm really not a gear-head and that goes for phones, computers and cameras. I didn't join the rush for the Nikon Z8 or Z9 either. I'll upgrade my D500 in due course but, right now, it still does the job (I also have a Z7ii but it does a different job).

58% of smartphones in  us are apple, but  70% android global which may be why there's more apple hype here.  since the early days of mac & PC the latter gave us chance to examine & tweak the machine (we discovered 3 hidden colors and did simple animation by screen shifting which ibm never promoted [we'd found unused graphic memory].) apple gave us nothing but had better marketing & gave free apples to schools.

i bot my first smartphone only 6 years ago - android, and anecdotally have never heard of anything iphone had that i couldn't do, on android, and the later doesnt require approval by apple to get into the store - so more innovation & choices.

For the moment, it might be worth to wait and see what the newly annouced Windows PC's with Snapdragon X Elite processor can deliver in performance. They seem to be reasonable priced.

I have not seen any independent benchmarks about photo or video editing yet.
