Well, here's another reason not to go exclusive
(not that anyone is seriously considering going exclusive with Crestock)
but I think it strongly demonstrates the danger of relying on any one agency.
Basically I have been unable to upload since December, and, despite numerous attempts through different channels, Crestock support apparently doesn't seem to care much.
Fortunately, Crestock represents a very small portion of my earnings, and I am definitely glad I don't depend on them for anything.

My post on this issue at the Crestock forums:

I've discussed your case with at least 2 of my colleagues who handle the helpdesk, they are aware of your situation and have been looking in to it.

Are you placing the images in the main directory on the FTP server? This is an isolated case, which seems to indicate some error from your end of the process. Keep us updated, and please provide the necessary details.

Update on FTP problems:

It seems that some FTP applications save the IP address rather than just the URL when you bookmark a connection. Given that we have changed our server setup recently, you could therefore be directed to the wrong server.

If you have problems using FTP although this has worked for you in the past, it's a good idea to start the login from scratch rather than just clicking the bookmarked connection; create a new connection, put ftp.crestock.com as the server and use your usual username and password.

This could resolve the problem if your bookmarked FTP connection is pointing you to the old server IP address.
